Shopify connection with Flowpay
Steps to connect your Shopify account with Flowpay
1. Enable the creation of a custom app in Shopify
2. Create an app in Shopify
3. Get access token
4. Connect your app with myFlowpay

Step 1 Enable custom app
Before you begin, you must enable custom app development in Shopify
Before you can create a connection access for your store, you need to enable this option in app development. You need to be the store owner or a staff member with the Enable app development permission to enable custom app development.









4. Click Allow custom app development (if not allowed already)


Step 2 Create an app
How to create and install a custom app needed for connection with Flowpay
After you've enabled custom app development, you can create and install a custom app in your Shopify admin. You need to set API scopes to determine which parts of your store the app can access. After the app is installed, you'll receive access tokens which the app uses to access information from your store.

5. Click Save
6. Click Install app and confirm installation by click to Install
2. Fill in App name (e.g Flowpay) and select an App developer
3. Click Configure admin API scope and select necessary values

You can allow to read all data or you can select only listed below. If you select all, we will only read the data listed below:
Required data in Read mode:
- assigned fulfillment orders
- discounts
- draft orders
- fullfillment services
- inventory
- location
- marketing events
- orders
- price rules
- product listing
- products
- returns
4. Select scopes as listed on the left




Step 3 Get credentials for connection
How to take credentials from created app
In order to connect the app with Flowpay you need to have an API password (API token) and API key from the created application.
If you continue right after installation of the app, the access token
will be shown straight away and you can skip to step 6.

6. Click Reveal token once and copy/save the token for the later use
Warning!
You can access the API token ONLY ONCE. After revealing the token, write it down somewhere secure so that you can use it later.

Step 4 Connect with myFlowpay
How to connect your Shopify account with Flowpay
For successful connection with Flowpay you need to have the access token from the created application,
URL address of your shop and completed registration to myFlowpay.

API Key = API key from your Shopify app

Shop = your Shopify URL



2. Go to the Integration
